Nissin Foods Indonesia Distributes Food Aid to Victims of Natural Disasters in Sumatra
As part of our commitment to supporting communities affected by natural disasters, Nissin Foods Indonesia, together with the World Instant Noodles Association (WINA), has once again extended aid to regions in Sumatra recently impacted by severe flooding and landslides. These disasters have forced thousands of residents to evacuate and have limited access to necessities.
Nobutoshi Takeda, President Director of Nissin Foods Indonesia, directly handed 35,000 Cup Noodles through ASAR Humanity as a prompt response to the urgent food needs of the disaster victims. The aid was distributed to several evacuation points in collaboration with ASAR Humanity, a humanitarian organization that ensures the timely and well-targeted delivery of assistance to communities in need.
Nissin Foods Indonesia believes that supporting the community is not only part of our corporate social responsibility but also a reflection of our commitment to being present and extending help to those facing difficult circumstances. We hope this assistance provides relief for the affected communities and supports ongoing recovery efforts in the Sumatra region.
